Do i need camber kit? (post alignment specs inside)

So i got 350z tein h-techs on my coupe and after waiting 2 weeks for springs to settle i went to get an alignment.

back wheels got back into spec, but fronts are off by .4/.6 degrees and they said the front is not adjustable? is this true?

the guy at goodyear said i need a front camber kit, he quoted me 1300 for the kit+install (930 for the kit LMFAO!), i asked if i could buy my own kit and have them install and he said no they only install their own parts so i lold and left.

now, should i get a camber kit and have someone else install it? or am i ok with .4/.6 negative camber?

You should be fine. As long as the toe is in spec, the tire wear will be minimal.

ok, and do you reccommend rotating tires to compensate for the camber? so far ive put maybe like 500 miles on the car since i got it lowered. when should i rotate tires if at all?

You cannot rotate your tires on your coupe, what you can do is have the tires dismounted and flipped from left to right sides if the tires are symmetrical to even out any camber wear that occurs, probably every 5-7k should be sufficient

u cant take the tire off, flip it, and remount it on the same wheel for the same effect? i see what your saying, but i dont see why it cant be on the same wheel just flipped... either way works right?

those tires are directional, meaning they were designed to turn in only one direction

Neg 1.8 Deg seems a tad too much for the front/rear for decent tire wear?

Most performance tires are directional

the rear is inside the factory range though? doesnt that mean the rears are fine..

Being inside the factory specs does not mean that the tires will wear normally, it depends on your type of driving. Nominal camber specs would be a better number to aim for rather than just inside the very wide range from the factory which is more to limit warranty work

you're fine on the front. Spending $1300 to correct that would be lunacy.

Get this for the rear:

$126 and even the dealer will get you back to perfect spec on the rear. It shows green but I think any more than 1.5 on the rear is going to wear tires.

I'm running stock shocks with z h-techs, and my front tires are wearing way too fast. It's been maybe 4000 miles, and the inner fronts are almost bald. The tire shops and dealer refuse to flip them, stating they are not allowed to legally. Anyone experience this? Do I just need to get new tires?

What are your camber/alignment settings?

I would opt for the eibach/SPC kit for ~$150 which comes with the toe bolts

They are the same arms. I had both and compared them side by side. Both come with the toebolts. Not that big a difference in price so either one would be fine. I like the red powdercoat of the ichiba version.
