Suspension Installed... but have some questions!
it may or may not be defective. some pillow ***** are louder than others. if everything is torqued down properly, the next step would be to contact BC and see what they say, especially if none of us here can solve it.
Without reading every post in the thread.
I had the same basic coilover for testing, Megan Racing. I had the same exact noise issue.
It was one of the locking collars on the rear height adjustment system. Tighten every single locking collar. On the front dampers lock the spring collar and the collar that locks down the lower shock mount (where you adjust the damper length. On the rear lock down the collar on the spring seats and on the dampers above the lower shock mount (where you adjust the damper length).
If I'm wrong and should have read the entire thread, a big ole sorry from me to you (grin).

The locking collars you are talking about are the rotating things to adjust stuff, right? How would these be making noise exactly?
A little off topic but Im lowered on tein s-tech's only and I have the clunking noise every time I go over a bump as well. Its more of a click to me though.

Yeah... it's a clunk/tap/pop... not sure what the correct word to describe it is. The Mech checked it out and there is no sign of damage, but he noticed only minimal consistent contact on the pillow ball mount of the strut, possibly causing more noise when under stress of a bump.
hei guys since, the OP has bc racing coils like i do, just a quick question, i know u dont mess with the preload in the front, but could lowering it as in brinign the ring down a few give me a better RIDE quality? just wondering
