just got my g35, need help on lowering

I just got my 2003 6MT coupe. I want to lower it but not sure which route to go. I have a friend who went with Tein S-Tech and loved the ride, but complained about tire wear. I was considering goin Tein Basic coilovers but want to know if this route would take care of the tire wear? Also, would the S-Tech's really cut the stock shock life by that much? Obviously the spring route would be cheaper, unless the tire wear and shock life cause it to cost as much as the coilovers in the long run. Help?

Even if you aren't lowered tires tend to go quick on these cars. If you are getting low....do it right and get a camber kit for the front and rear. These parts give longevity to tires. Also Coilovers are better becasue the amount that you will spend replacing shocks after changing out springs , you could've gotten a deal on a good coilover suspension.

if you get s techs, you'll need camber kits for the rear

I'm currently running Z stechs and have spc camber kits, I kinda want to get coilovers instead now though, the stechs ride is just a tad bit stiffer than stock

before buying springs, just ask yourself what are you going to be using your car for? mainly daily driving, or going to track it from time to time....
