HELP! Rear camber arm issues!

Hey ya'll...well i'm in the process of changing out my camber arms and toe bolts with the SPC rear kit. However I've seemed to run into a snag. I was able to remove the nut on the inner driver side camber arm with no problem but the outer nut (right behind the rotor won't budge! I've used penetrating oil and i'm using a cordless impact. i've stripped the nut just a little bit already but it still doesn't move. Any suggestions on how i can take remove the nut? Do i need to remove anything prior to removing the arm? Thanks in advance for your advice!

im not understanding what you are saying. you took off the nut that is holding the camber arm on right under the rotor? did you tap the bolt out? is that what your asking? the best thing i can say is try to use a 6 point socket i think it is 17 mm if you can show me a pic

Sorry...what i mean is that i can't take off the nut behind the rotor. I'm using a 17mm 6pt socket but it's not working. The nut is starting to get stripped. Sorry i don't have a camera so i can't take a pic.

my man, make this job easy for yourself and toss aside all the wd 40 and other oil sprays. Take a heat gun, heat up the nut for a good 3-5 minutes, and it will come right off. I just swapped my exhaust last week, and using this method I got through it with ease. I tried all the sprays just like you and nothing worked, the heatgun literally saved my project for me.

cuz you know what happens when you heat metal right ? it expands and flexes a tiny bit.

ahh...crap i guess i'll invest in a stripped nut remover then while i'm at it...the nut isn't too bad but who knows since i've been hitting it with my impact. Sigh...but i will try Adon's suggestion...I wonder if they rent those at Autozone...Thanks guys for the help!

you could go to home depot and buy a tourch its like 20bucks it is in the tool area they use it for copper piping way better then a heat gun. if you dont need the stripped nut remover dont get it yet. try the heat

You wouldn't happen to have a brand name or anything would you? But what about the bolt..surely i don't want to melt that while i'm at it? I mean the nut is to be replaced anyhow.
