raising and lowering

Ok so I bought some greddy type S coil overs from someone over on My350z.com, for a great price. I installed them on saturday, fairly easy job just a tad time consuming, now my question is, how do i raise and lower the coil over? I have tein spanner wrenches, as this kit didnt come with them, and it only fits on the bigger lock ring, the one right below the spring perch. Now there are 2 smaller lock rings, but my spanner keeps slipping off of it. Is there anythign i can do so i can drop the front a little bit more? its abotu 1/4-1/2 inch higher than the rear, and the rears fit perfect

The one you want to spin I think is the smaller one that the bottom, if its threaded onto the shock, the other collars are for adjusting the spring preload, but I haven't seen greddy typeS coilovers personally. A picture would be very helpful, then I could point out the exact one to be sure.

it is the way u say it is, 2 collars for spring preload, and one at the bottom of the threaded shock, but when i tighten that it only tightens the collar onto the shock more. i need to be able to turn the shock to lower, or turn something so the threads move
