I have this problem, whenever i ride a on cracked road I hear something that shakes.

I thought it was the bushing of the front sway bar. So I changed them, but that was not the problem. The noise is still there.

I got a 03 coupe with 45 000 miles on it.

Cant find the problem, please help

 

can you describe it better? Is it a loud shaking noise; or is it a plastic shaking sound; or metal clanging shaking sound; is it only over big bumps; how is it during regular driving, etc.?

 

It sounds like something wobbling? its not metal, sounds to me like plastic. it happens on regular driving, the sounds happens when driving on a road with alot of crack in it. It started during winter time...

I thought it was bushing so i changed it, its not that, and suspension seems fine , no leak ....

Its really a weird plastic shaking sound, sometimes sounds like wobbling, something sounds like a plastic hitting something.

I also thought it was the plastic cover under the engine, so I removed that also, its not the problem

 

help? nobody knows?

What is a compression rod? someone has a picture ? could that be the problem?
