Firestone allignment

Basically I need some feedback from you guys who have had personal experience with Firestone. I just lowered by G and I am looking to get the lifetime alignment with Firestone. I've been doing some research on G35 driver as well as other forums and found that quit a few people have had some nightmare experiences with Firestone, but it does vary from store to store. I'm looking for a good firestone in So Cal, in the 818 or 626 area. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I can't speak from experience since I never been to firestone or trust them in the first place. But my friend swears by the firestone shop at the northridge mall.

DO NOT GO TO THE NORTHRIDGE MALL FIRESTONE

I set up an appointment time to go in, they said itll take 1~1.5 hrs. I kill 2 hrs at the mall, and come back, only to find my car STILL OUTSIDE.
Got pissed off and came back the next day cuz the guy said he'll do it for $50. Then they gave me an alignment sheet that indicated I had POSITIVE camber and NEGATIVE caster, in the front which makes absolutely no sense after a drop.

I know Gdup35sedan used to work at a firestone down at San Diego and heard lots of good things about him, but im not sure what hes doing now.

IMO just go to West End Alignment, West Covina Nissan, or Hiro's. All reputable shops.

I'm planning to get mine gone at West Covina Nissan in couple weeks if I finally get my H-Tech installed this week.

i have the lifetime alignment and use the firestone on lincoln in santa monica. like most shops, you have to find a good tech and make sure they are the one who works on your car. the only times i've had problems with firestone is when an inexperienced tech works on the car. the guy i have work on my car is pretty knowledgeable and sets the car up per my specs.

I have a lifetime alignment with the Firestone in Houston, Tx. I've only gone twice and i'm pretty satisfied with their work. The shop floor manager is helpful and has always told me what their plan of action is. Like you said it all depends on the shop. What i do is walk in and ask questions as if i'm going to get my car serviced just to gauge their customer service skills, then ask them hypothetical questions about car repair to see their response. Kind of like an interview process.
