Ordered new pads for the wifes car and before I go ahead and install I wanted to know if I need a special tool for the rears to retract the piston back into the caliper?
I know some cars you need a tool to spiral the piston back into the caliper.

Needed or not? Just a C-Clamp like the fronts?

I did mine and didn't need anything special ,except for a breaker bar. I don't have and X, but wouldn't think they would be very different.

 

I use a c clamp
