most comments i have heard of the front strut bar is that is mostly for looks and does not offer all that much actual function, id go with front sways instead

sway bars made a huge improvement on my coupe. then i added a front strut bar and it improved handling noticeably the front end feels tighter (better)

depends on which one you use... for most daily driving none are gonna make that big of a difference anyway...

just like others have said sways would be ur #1 optiona and anything that sitffens the chassis up like underbody braces such as GT spec. To finish this off u can go with semi race tires and be much faster than stock in corners.

I've had Stillen for well over 2 years (maybe 3 now)... no problems... I know there was a thread with 2 or 3 broken... but thousands of us have them.

front and rear? Or mid-brace?... I would be all over the mid brace if someone made one for the sedan... I haven’t really considered front and rear though with sway bars...

Anyone have an opinion on the Progress sway bar? I like how you can buy just the rear since I'm an X owner.....

I had Progress on my old car and loved it.

well gt spec braces shouldn't hurt. I was talking about the front and rear lower tie braces and the rear lateral brace. No matter what they should stiffen up the chassis quite a bit.

without lowering I reckon the sways will make minimal difference...center of gravity needs to be lowered to achieve your desired result of flatter cornering. Stick a set of Z suspension in + sways and you will find it a whole lot better.

04X here, and I just have a strut tower brace, no sway bar upgrades.

Cornering is definitely tighter now - the front end no longer dives while turning. I suggest you start with a STB, then if it is not stiff enough, try a rear sway bar upgrade too.

You can also send your shocks/struts to Truechoice and get some koni insert in them. They can even make them have compression adjustments that cost more.
