Wheel Bearing Damaged!! Pics/Vid camber arms

2004 g35 w/60k lowered on Eibach springs, 19" SSR wheels...

here is the problem. lowering the G throws the alignment way off. after the first alignment=

Front left: Front right: Recommended: front:-1.2 to -0.3 camber
-1.7 Camber -1.7 -.08 of Toe
.04 Toe .04

Rear left: Rear Left: Rec: Rear: -1.9 to -.09 Camber
-1.8 Camber -1.9 .22 toe in.
.12 Toe .11

As you can see the alignment was quite a bit off. With this setup the car went through a set of Falken FK's in 6k. A trip to LA and back gave these tires the last leg. when I was getting back to the bay area where it was quite foggy/rainy. The car started to slip and slip a little. NOT at all fun. Except in the turns but a straight makes for a dangerous time.

The second set of tires were mounted. Khumo Ecsta Ast. just for the rears.
Again went through those in about 6k.

To correct the rear alignment. Megan Racing rear camber and radius arms were installed.

after installation and alignment:
Front: -1.6 for both. .05 degrees of toe.

Rear Left: Rear Right:
-1.9 Camber -2.2
.11 Toe .02

After the realignment. A clicking was noticed in the rear with every slow movement. Pulled off the wheels to double check that all lock nuts were tight. When pulling off the rear right. Noticed that the wheel moved a little more then usual like the lug nuts were lose.

The conclusion of the damaged wheel bearing was extreme angles of toe and camber created to much stress for the bearing. Why it was not noticed earlier was for the angle of toe was so great that it kept the stress on the bearing. The re-align took me and a couple guys a couple of hours to get the rear right close to spec. Should of checked the wheel bearing!!

NEW bearing and Spc eccentric bolts will be installed. Stay Tuned.

Vid of camber arms install and bad bearing.

Common with any vehicle after lowering and heavier than oem tires and wheels. Self destruction caused by owner abuse.

Failure to maintain ideal [nominal] alignment values is the crime.
