I'm not sure if it applies to every year but I have an 05 and there were already existing holes which I used. It kinda made the extensions bend a weird way but they work completely fine. I have BC Racing coilovers though.

Basically, looking at the pics from that DIY, instead of drilling out the hole and going up into the rear deck inside the car, there is an existing hole towards the rear of the car. The only thing that sucks, is you have to take out the side paneling in the trunk, making sure not to break the plastic clips that are holding them on. But I just ran my extensions through there without any drilling, poked a hole in the trunk paneling and now I can access them through my trunk. It's easier than the rear deck IMHO.

Just another reason to have a sedan with the reclining rear seats. I just pull the seat forward, remove the cloth behind the seat, and the dampening adjustment **** is sitting right there all nice and pretty.

Takes me less than 30 seconds to adjust both rears............
