Question guys, i am a newb to G35 and their suspensions, but i bought these JIC coilovers and it came with 2 sets of rear springs, one longer and one shorter. Which is which? And what are the Spring weights on these? If pics are needed i can take them.

Also given the two rear springs which is better for street driving?

Anyone have any tips on installing these? I was on 350z.com and it seems some people had alot of trouble installing these!

Edit: I read on 350z that the g35 version of these coilovers come with rear hard rubber mounts? I Dont think mine came with this since it came off a 350z

 

What the the spring rates. I had JIC's on my WRX. Handled great but beat the living crud out of you

 

Truthfully i have no idea lol! I am pretty sure they are the ones with the 560 front and 672 rear, but then theres another set of rear springs which i assume are the lower and more comfy 560. It doesnt help that the guy who sold it to me though doesnt know either!!


Does anyone know if there is any marking on the suspension which should tell me its exact model or on the springs?? I dont see anything really!

 

OK, well i just found out that they are the JIC FLT-TAR series Coilovers, and they came with 10k rear and 12k rear. So those are the 2 springs that i have for the rear.


My question, is to you guys how do i know which is which? I searched and found some have said that JIC had it printed at the bottom of the springs, but i couldnt find that.

With that said, i am guessing that i hsould run the 10k spring in the rear due to all the harsh reviews it got with the heavier weight springs in the rear right?


Also anyone have any tips on preloading the suspension? I am going to preload it all the way because i am going to be riding pretty low, no wheel gap in the front and maybe a finger in the rear.
