Brakes worn @ 95% (Front) and 40% (Rear), should I replace them all? Quote a rip-off?

More aggressive pads will require more heat in them before they become effective. It's usually not a big deal, but in the winter(depending on location) it can be inconvenient for the first few miles.

Alright..you guys won.."Changing brake pads with bf" is officially on my calender...
One Q:
I am on a business trip so I can't check if my rotors need to be changed (rockd said @ 61,000 miles, my rotors shouldn't have to be replaced). So let's say I change my brake pads this weekend and then find out that I need to replace the rotors the week after, does it hurt if I continue to use the recently replaced brake pads on the new rotors?
I want the "Big Brake Kit" but they are so expensive!!!
332x32 $1,975.00
355x32 $2,452.00
355x35 $2,543.00

if you want to keep the rotors at least get them resurfaced. New pads will break in much better on a resurfaced rotor and if the need to be replaced the people resurfacing them will let you know
Updates: I just ordered drilled and slotted rotors and HPS Brakes (all four of them) from OC Autosports. (The total was $398..I thought it's quite reasonable)...I spread this news on another post in the forum....
Now I am wondering if should get the SS lines also as another member mentioned it..

If you're not tracking the car, or driving very aggressively on mountain runs and the like, then I don't think you need SS lines.
SS lines are mostly used to prevent/minimize brake fade; basically they don't expand like the stock rubber lines when the brake fluid achieves high temps.
I'm still on my stock brakes(rotors, pads, lines), front and rear, after 3 years and 65k miles. I've had over 300 passes at the drag strip(decelerating from 100mph), ~150 burnouts(riding the rear brakes), several autocrosses, and several mountain runs. I've never seen a bit of brake fade, but I've never tracked my car.
My point in that little anecdote is that SS lines simply aren't needed if you're not murdering your brakes. On the other hand, I've wanted to attend a local track day, but did not because I was still on the stock pads/rotors/lines. So if you have any intention on tracking the car, then go with the SS lines.

Updates: Haven't got my rotors and pads installed yet..because OC A' send me the pads for sedan instead of coupe...(where's the crying smiley..)
Called OC and they said they will contact the manufactuer and have the right ones resent to me....we will see...
