Question Flat Out - What drop can I do w/ no mod other than Springs?

I hope my Title question makes sense?

What I'm looking for:

A 1" - 1.5" drop that requires no other mod's (camber kit, whatever).

Did research prior to asking this question and I hear the G35 TEIN H-Tech's might be my ONLY choice.

I read that the 350Z TEIN H-Tech's are great on the G35, but tend to lower the front more than the rear - requiring a mod for the REAR, and then hearing that I'll need to FLIP my tires to avoid un-even wear.

So basically, I want to know if it's even POSSIBLE to drop this car any lower than STOCK and not have to mess with anything other than switching out the SPRINGS?

Hopefully that's an easy "straight-forward" query for you quys to help me with?

Thanks as ALWAYS Guys!

when you start lowering your car your going to start having camber issues... depending on how low you go...

so either deal with the camber or get camber kits

None of the above. You must keep it at 1" or less or you will have issues.

I thought 350Z Htechs would give you 1.5" or more?

Stock 350Z springs are cheap and avallable, they will give you 0.9" to 1"

So 1" or less wont affect camber at all?

In reality there is no way to drop your G without having an issue. The Tein
350Z H-Techs will give you the least amount of drop but then you still have
the choice of getting Toe bolts/adjusters or buying rear tires every year
or two. In the long run it's cheaper to buy the springs and adjusters for the
rear and have it aligned after install....

I put the 350Z springs in my sedan, I got a 1" +/- drop. Once I had the toe in adjusted, I have had no tire wear issues.

Arent Sedans and coupes different as far as springs? I thought that 350z springs will drop a sedan 1" or so but not a coupe. I am confused now.

They are different, all the suspensions are the same, but the spring length and the corresponding camber/toe ranges are different. By using 350z OEM springs, you are essentially just going to the 350z OEM alignment settings. That is why Texasscout doesn't notice wear issues on his sedan. 350z h-techs on a sedan will drop it 1.7-1.8", which will then cause issues on the sedan.

Since springs major role is just to support the body, they have little effect on measurable handling. They do affect the feel to the driver and can cause problems if the fore/aft roll stiffness ratio is thrown out of balance.
Lowering [the center of gravity] can reduce the transfered cornering forces on tires by 1-2%.............whether 1-2% is worth all the problems and extra mainteance cost depends.
Lowering with a heavier tire and wheel is at best a wash if you are lucky.

Checked the front tires yesterday and I do have some abnormal wear on the insides of the front tires. Camber arms here we come....

If its not a whole lot, then just have the tires flipped if the are symmetrical. Usually you have to go through 3-4 sets of tires before the camber arms pay for themselves.
