I have no clue, but in terms of cosmetics I think normal 1 caliper setups look way sicker than that setup. The dual calipers look out of place to me.

Movie "stunt" cars often have a second caliper on the rear to lock them up at will...

Can get alot more braking power but those calipers look small so IMHO, it's for looks. Also depends on what's out back? Standard 2-4 units? Then that means this setup isn't really providing much more braking force.

for example, if you simply added another oem front brembo to your stand brembo, brake force would go WAY up. You would need way more bias in the rear. Also you are pushing WAY more fluid to the increased surface area. Pedal travel would skyrocket on such a setup w/o a modded master cylinder.
