Wtf Is This?

i was cutting grass this morning n i stop to check out my wheels n i look on my rear driver side and i found these it look like weights on double sided tape? what is it for ? can i take it off?

No you can not take them off. Those are there to balance the wheels.

I wouldn't as those are used to balance the wheel.

dont take them off... there weights for wheels balancing...

the others were better balanced or the other side lost its weights ... take it in to your local tire shop and have them check the balance if your really worried.

Lately, I've been seeing a couple threads/posts concerning these stick-on weights. It's not like it's new technology or anything.

I actually prefer these stick-ons from the ones you put on the edge of the wheels.

It's for the wheels balance, don't take it off, or else for no reason you have to take it to the wheel shop to rebalanced your tires.

yes. more than likely the other side is missing its weights. Take it in and have all 4 rechecked.

These were designed with our style of rim in mind as the crimp-rim style would really be bad for the lips.
