Unhappy Suspension HELP

I have 19 inch axis shines (19x8.5 front, 19x9.5 back) and i need some help on deciding what kit to get for a drop.

I live in texas and the roads here arent that great but i need bout an inch or inch 1/2 drop. I want the car to have a flush look to it but at the same time i dont need to be worried bout scraping and everything

I was thinking bout some type of coil overs but i am not sure.

Any Suggestions?!?!?!

If you just want a small drop like you have said, and want to maintain the same ride quality just get springs.

Anybody?!?!?!

Is $210 for tien 350z h techs a good deal?

and also if anybody has pictures of this drop that would help out alot because i am not sure if it is going to be low enough for my taste.

i want it having a flushed look but at the same time i need some clearance for these roads in texas and i have kinda a steep drive way.

Should i get some coilovers?!?!?! BC Racing?

or should the 350z h techs do the job?

Again pics are appreciated

thanks,

Michael

I am leaning towards the BC Racing Coilovers.

because having the ablity to change the height is what i think i am looking for. and i have heard some great reviews about them.

also changing the height...

is it hard to do? do you have to jack your car up or anything.

(I am a noob when it comes to suspension) need some help

having the rims flush has more to do with the offset of the rims...if they are not flush enough for you, you can add spacers to push the rims out

go for the 350Z H-Techs and avoid the hassle of coilovers, especially if you are new to suspension tuning. $210 sounds kind of high from what I remember, but price has probably gone up. check the marketplace as these are always around for sale. good luck either way you choose.

coilovers would be a better choice overall but 12 billion times more expensive than springs. i would go with springs, god i have so much to learn about G's that'd be sick if i still lived in TX and we could work on them together. but watvaa. keep me updated

You can purchase coilovers starting at around $800 for a full set all the way up to the thousands. (not including install).

As you have already read, springs are a one time deal...coilovers allow you to adjust the height and with some sets, they also allow you to adjust the stiffness of the ride. To adjust coilovers, you need to jack the car up and use the special adjusting wrenches they come with (most coilovers). Some coilovers (expensive ones) all you have to do is rotate the strut shaft to adjust the height (front only). I've found it alot easier to remove the rear collars to adjust the height in the rear.
