Having put a b-e-a-utiful set of 19's on, my VCD controller seems to go mad! Its wanting to apply some control to the fronts until all three lights (ABS, VCD Off and SLIP) all light up on the dash. After looking in the Service Manual, it says this can happen if you put on non-OEM wheels - my question is - anyone know what to do to get around this? I don't want to lose ABS if I can - VCD I can live without, but not ABS. Any ideas?

what tire sizes did you get? if they are more than 2.5-3% off from the stock size, your traction control can go crazy like this. more info needed.

245/35/19's on the front and 275/40/19's on the rear - up from 225/45/18's and 245/45/18's respectively.

^simple. Whoever did your tire sizing didn't do a good job. You made the diameter of the fronts smaller by .8% and the diameter of the rears larger by 3.7%. together that's roughly a 4.5% difference from stock and the system is confused by it. Change your rear tires to a 275 35 19 and you'll be fine. That keeps the new tires less than .5% difference from stock.

^^^ what RBull said. your traction control system is going nuts because of the 4%+ difference between front and rear tires. change your rear tires to the correct size.
