anything special to changing oem pads?

anything special to changing oem pads?

I change the brakes on all my vehicles. there is nothing to changing the pads on our cars is there? I have 07 coupe with 19 in wheels and sport tuned suspension. Going to pick up the oem pads and change them out.

If its as easy as my 05 sedan, you'll have no problem, i put new rotors and pads on all four wheels in about an hour and a half

The dynamic elasticity [noise suppression] of the shims has a finite life. Historically a new shim set every other pad change seems ideal.
The Nitrile coating {0.005"] changes with temp exposure. A the squeel supression declines in cool weather.
