BC coilover (rear not low enough?)

Ok so I bought and installed my BC coilovers. The front could be adjusted where the car could pretty much sit on the ground. The rear is a different story. I have spun the spring as low as it would go and have done the same with the shock. Now I notice it is about maybe.. 1 inch lower than stock. Is there a reason the rear can not go any lower? I figured putting coilovers on would give me about a 3 inch range for lowering.

depends on coilovers .. my Stance coilovers can sit lower than Tein's will

some people max out their Teins and still wont come close to what the Stance coils can do

I thought the BC coilovers don't use the stock springmount? +1 on removing the locking ring though, I would ditch both rings

Maybe I will remove the adjustable part in the back, that woudl give me about another inch. Once I put wheels on I may put them back on. Either way I just figured it would give me about 3 inches max to work with. The rubber mount on the top must stay in right? I figured it was important because that is the weight of the car pushing down on the spring.

Thanks for the suggestions.

there is not spring mount in the rear, it is removed.
you can only remove the top lock ring as the bottom (larger) one seats the spring so it doesnt move around.

what spring rate setup did you get? higher spring rates will drop the car less, due to them being able to support more weight of the car before compressing.

if you are still want to go lower after removing the top lock ring, let me know. we can see about getting you some 180mm springs instead of 200mm spring. these are the ones i run on mine and you can put the rear on the floor if you want.
