Rear rotors turned only?

I was wondering if it is possible to just get the rear rotors only, turned? The rears are the only ones I am having problems with as far a continuous chirping and dusting.
I did a brake job recently ( 5K ago) and didn't turn the rotors, because I felt they looked and felt exceptionally smooth. The fronts are fine but the rears dust up big time and I get chirping noise at low speed.

bcgreen, you expected to get less dusting by having the rotors cut? Did that do anything to help the dusting? I would totally not expect it too.

I don't know if having the rotors turned will solve the dusting problems. I didn't turn the rotors when I did the job. The fronts work fine, but the rears squeak a little and they dust alot, so much so that I have to clean them every 2 days. The fronts are as I would expect - they don't need any cleaning, except for every couple of weeks.(hardly any dust at all)

That is usually a combination of your pad and rotors but mostly your pads. If you want less dust get different pads, that might also help your squeak.

Different pads like Hawk HPS will have less dust.

These are ceramic pads from CarboTech.

I know most people talk about Hawk, but I felt differently and went with CarboTech performance pads and as you can see I have hardly any dusting on the fronts.
