hey wats up guys im realy new here and no u guys r experienced. but i bought a 08 infiniti g35xs last june about 7 8 months ago From the dealer, and i have 7900 miles on the car...and on the dashboard the symbol BRAKE keeps comming on and dissaperring..my friend who is a mechanic says i shouldnt need brakes to atleast 20,000 miles so what does this mean...

 

Sounds like low brake fluid. Check the master cylinder reservoir to see if the fluid level is above the 'MIN' line. If it's low it could mean you need new pads, or you have a brake fluid leak somewhere. More than likely, it's the former. Do you brake aggressively or drag the pedal?
