Problems related to wheel bearing and hub

Hey Guys

I know many of you who has G with 40K or up miles probably had or has issue with loose feeling on your suspension or wheels. You probably thought it was your outer tie rods, shocks, springs, or tires, but I seriously think this is not the issue. I replaced my shocks, springs, rack/ pinion, and new set of tires last month. However, I still have the looseness. I took it to the dealer and mechanic re-torqued all the suspension nuts and bolts, and he stated that nothing was loose or damaged. Based on my reserach, I think it is related to wheel bearing and hub issue.

If anyone had similar experiences, pls share in this thread

Problem:
vibration, wobbles, or loose feel coming from front wheels whenever car runs over ridge. The impact from this causing inside cabin to shake. Car feels ok w/ minimal vibration (almost none, but feel slight vibration from my gas paddle) when I drive on smooth road.

Also, this may be a dumb question, but is there a difference b/t ball bearing and wheel bearing??

thanks guys

I always felt this after I bought my car. I thought the reason was that its japanese. Had an audi before and never fell so bad.

Wow that looks grimey! Ok so after reading your thread, I dont think my problem is vibration related. I think its more suspension related. I definitely need a tighter suspension.

I have a loud rotational vibration sound coming from the front driver's side of the wheel. I think I have an issue with my wheel bearing. I was thinking about buying an aftermarket hub & bearing from TIMKEN and taking it local. Can I trust TIMKEN products? or should I buy original? (I appreciate any advice).

the wheel bearing/hub issue is covered under your powertrain warranty. just take it to the dealer

My car has 100,000 miles. I don't think I'm under warranty anymore.
