So this was the source of my vibration/shaking problem as well as the associated road noise. I should have figured something like this would have went bad. It was only a matter of time, especially after 113K!

Yea.. I'm stopping by the local Nissan stealership to pick up the bearing tomorrow.
Moog helped me out with some advice over the phone to reassure me it was the problem.

113k? Do you use oem wheels or heavier aftermarket?
We see wheel bearing failure with heavier wheels or brake mods [heat] but usually last more miles stock.
But then again 100k is the typical design point for most components.

hey man can you PM me.. I got a bad bearing on the rear passenger wheel its humming/roaring noise.. how hard is it to get to the bearring?? is the brake assembly hard to take appart, or is the bearing itself hard to take appart?? any rust/seizing issue??

nice pictures. After almost 100k my rear wheel bearings went. I had the same symptom as you did, vibration. When we put the car up on the lift, I could move the wheels back and fourth while it was still mounted to the hub, which was not safe. Mine is getting fixed right now.

Well, I bought the PARTS from the dealer... I did the labor myself with some advice from fellow members on the board. Anyone with sufficient experience with this can probably do it, but if not, then yes, you should take it to a professional.
