For example, my Volks are a +28 offset rear (conservative, compared to a lot of guys that run crazy offsets on here), is 10.5 inches wide, with 285 section width of rubber out back.

Whereas the front wheels are +30 offset, 9.5 inches wide, with 255 section width of rubber.

The problem with your TIRES is that they're 235 series front and back. Most RWD sport coupes have a wider tire in the rear, think Vette, Cobra, even the new IS350 sedans have wider tires in the back.

Now, I'm not bashing you, BUT...

to fix your problem, just throw your stock wheels back on. I'm assuming you got your current wheels from a tuner magazine advertisement, or from a shop that is used to throwing ghetto wheels on civics.

If you want to do a proper job with your Infiniti, and I think you do, otherwise you wouldn't have made a post like this. What you should do is spend some time on the forum, look at some people's rides, take notes on wheel sizes, offsets, and tire profiles, and then make your own decision as to what you want.

We're all pretty nice and open here, 'cept for the offset-**** club
id def. have to aggree..after all the time and effort ive put into my g..im still rolling on the stock 19's..i want to make sure i pick out the perf. wheels..not some ghetto knock offs

Why aren't you running a staggered set up? and I totally agree with everyone here that your tires are way too small.

think I'll be able to keep the 235's in the front and put in some 245/40/19's as per Douchebag's suggestion with an 1'' drop?

heh. wasn't running staggered because that's how the wheels came with.

^ your avatar is scary... haha. it's more like getting flamed for having these. lurked around the forums and the general consensus is that they're heinous.

Don't worry people talked about me rocking Rota's for 08.
I made them look good.
You can't always please everyone but having the right offset
and tire size for our cars is paramount

so you guys think 235's in front and have some 245's in rear with an 1'' drop is a decent setup?
