I've been driving my G for around a month now, and am now officially extremely confused. When we got the car, we right away noticed the brakes weren't great, and even squeaked at really slow speeds. We thought it was just the pads, that would have to be replaced, but this weekend we got new pads, and that wasn't the case at all. The ones that were there, were practically new. So we left them on, and the car still has the same problem. It brakes pretty weakly, and now that I've been driving around, I've noticed it only squeaks when I pull out in reverse. I also noticed the brakes get kinda rusted, but i'm not sure if that matters.
I'm really confused, about what this could be, and am now kind of worried about it being a bigger problem.
Btw, I've been searching the forum, and haven't found anything. But I did notice someone complaining that their slip light would flash, and I have the same thing happen to me. At times, when I gas it a bit, the light flashes, but doesn't feel to be slipping much. Not sure if that matters either.
Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like maybe your rotors are warped. Or your pads were not bedded correctly.
Anyone else no of anything?
If it is my rotors being warped, how can I check?
and if my pads are not bedded correctly too.

Jack the car up and rotate the wheels, if the rotors are truely warped you will hear an uneven scraping sound as the wheel rotates. I would try beddding in the brake pads before I took it anywhere.
If you don't know how, look on StopTech.com in the technical section then find a very long empty road.

try some spirited driving. worked for me! you should properly bed your brakes and check your rotors as others have mentioned
Well... I drive spirited alot. haha
Unless by spirited you mean some crazy ****, I don't think that'll fix the problem. haha
When you bring up the idea about scraping sound, I've noticed that at slow speeds, I can hear a kind of rotating sound, very light... Which seems like is coming from the front right wheel. I just thought it was something with the tire or something. Could that be anything to do with the brakes being warped?
