i installed the nismo sway bars friday. not much of a difference the stock sway bars are already really thick. i decided to get the sway bars after my car fish tailed 5 times on 101 when taking a turn good thing nothing happend

I don't think thicker sway bars will actually prevent fishtailing. You need better rubber.

Now this is just a guess, but I'd venture to bet that leaving the VDC active would help prevent fishtailling....

Where can I get the Nismo sway bars? I did not know they even had it. How much are they?

 

Prevent fishtailing by using VDC? Now where would the fun be in that? Besides after fishailing enough the VDC calls it quits and disables itself...So far i've done it twice. You know, SLIP light stuck in the on position and the VDC button in-operabler until the car is turned off and restarted.

ahahaha that happened to me and i was like wtf then as u were say i restarted the car and it went back to normal but mine happened when i had the VDC off. o-well. I would not try it. I was doing some crazy spins and stuff in a parking lot and then the car got all [censored] up with nav saying there was a problem and i was like damn and not to mention that some one had called the cops and i could here them coming and i had to get the F$%^ out of there but after a restart all was normal again.

we have stock sway bars? where are they? i dont konw what a sway bar looksl ike or where ti would be...

yeah alot of cars these days come with stock swaybars, but not strut tower bars like the Z has...

swaybars look like this:

We do have the strut tower bar at the back

It is just carpetted...

 

carlos. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img] didn't you like how the nav showed you a giant VDC block then ABS and then tried to help you find the closest Infiniti dealer. When I first saw that after the dyno I was kind of worried.

But ya same thing I just drove away and all the nice lights and warnings went away.

has anyone taken the fuse out for the abs/vdc yet?
