Knocking in front suspension

So in the last 2K miles, i'e had a knocking develop in my front suspension. At first it was faint and only when the car is first driven, but now it's gotten louder and lasts maybe 10 mins after i first start driving. Offset bumps and dips really make a loud noise.

I went under the car to take a peek at the compression rods, but my entire suspension looks great. I only have 30K miles. The boots were not torn (yet) so i really couldn't visually see anything wrong.

The car is under warranty, but i won't have time to take it in for a couple weeks. I just want to educate myself before going. Are the compression rods my #1 culprit? Anything else to visually check?
