I just spoke with Scott on the phone about the bracket issue and I would just like to clarify a few things. First of all I am not at all unhappy about the bar, I have already said many times i love the bar! I just wish it fit right the first time after waiting so long and spending all that money ya know? I also did not post the above to bash Scott, i was just pointing out that last time i posted up it was with the pictures of the fitment and that started a big mess of things with people posting from other sites just to talk ****. yes, the welds are not the best but with that, Scott has offered a lifetime warranty on the bar so there is nothing really to worry about there.

As for the denial from Scott that there was a problem, yes for me he did deny their was a problem and suggested i bring it to a shop. but I was the first with the problem and once he saw more people having the same problem along with the pictures i sent him, he must have quickly realized there was something obviously wrong. So i retract my statement about their being complete denial but he shoulda took my word for it when i said there was almost a half-inch gap when i closed the hood all the way

anyways, for those who have not talked to Scott, the brackets are being made now and should be shipped out sometime next week!

^ I got the same voicemail from Scott.

Within a week or two, the bars should be shipped out.

As of now, they're all mocked up.

ANYWAY, does anyone know the torque specs for the top strut nuts? I can't seem to find anything on that....

According to FSM the outside nuts are 26-30 ft-lb (the cntr nut for strut itself is 40-47 ft-lb)

Curious for update. Have any of you received the correctly engineered and manufactured parts yet?
