Brakes Brake Components

Hey, i couldn't find anything with search so i was wondering if you guys knew if the brake components (eg. brake calipers or the piston caliper) are covered under warranty?

the caliper and the pistons most likely are

the pads and rotors, obviously not

Caliper, pistons, master cylinder, abs components, lines, etc... Basically the mechanical parts would be covered, ( unless there is damage, modification or abuse ) Don't expect pad, fluid, or rotors to be covered... They're wear items.

so i was was to take it in should i put the old pads back on or leave the ones i bought from autozone?

well i believe my passenger caliper is seized.

Leave what you have on. They cannot require you to buy their parts for maintenance.

They would have to prove that the pads caused the caliper to seize...

maybe bringin in the old pads and the pads i have on now will be better. since i just changed it yesterday there can be a change in the new pads already if it was seized and just show them the old ones.
