Fitment of Richie (NRG) Strut Bar on Sedan?
Hey, I'm just curious as to if the fitment issue on this strut bar carries to the sedan, and or if it is fixed. I've searched, but can't find anything, and I kind of want to find a strut bar that will fit over a 5/16 spacer, and a CF engine cover, and I'm thinking about picking this up.
Also, if anyone knows where I can get some CF battery covers, let me know. Been searching for them for quite a while.

The Richie v2 is suppose to not have the fitment issue of the hood hitting the bar. I have the latest NRG strut bar which is the same bar and I still had to elongate the holes more so the hood didn't hit it. Either one will clear the 5/16 spacer and an engine cover.
The CF covers come up on eBay from time to time.

^+1, no fitment issues for me with the NRG strut bar and I have a 5/16th spacer. Never had any issues with it rubbing on the hood.
Then I got a new suspension setup and had to modify the brackets to fit with my BC Racing coils.

How can you guys tell if it's rubbing or not? I have the V1 bar and it's over the engine cover and a 5/16 spacer, but there's no way I have been able to tell if it was really rubbing the hood once closed. There aren't any strange noises or bulges in the hood of course...

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned that I took mine off when I installed the bar because I didn't want to get any marks on the bar from it (and the underside of the hood looks way better without it).

Alright, thanks everyone for the input, not sure if I want to pull the trigger on this yet or not... Pretty much just for aesthetics, right? I mean it provides a slight bit of support, but nothing crazy, or am I just crazy?
