Brake Fluid

I have a 2004 Coupe with Brembos..

I was curious what brake fluid everyone runs in their car. I don't really know if its worth the $20 a bottle to go with something like Motul or something similar.

If you don't track your car, any of the branded fluids will do a good job. Just stay away from any that are silicone based.
The more expensive fluids can withstand higher temps before performance begins to degrade. They are also less sensitive to moisture in the fluid. These are issues more related to racing performance and as long as you keep water out of the system, the lower priced fluids will work fine on the street.

"They are also less sensitive to moisture in the fluid."

Do some research and you will find the higher the boiling point the faster the fluid chemistry becomes contaminated with moisture.
Ultra performance fluids are assumed to be flushed after every race weekend so moisture sensitivity is immaterial except racing in the rain.

OEM use DOT3 to prolong the moisture buildup time to make the brakes safer after 2 years since the average owner doesn't understand.
