Really Noob Wheel Question

This might seem like a really Noob question but i've never bought rims before, and didnt want to mess up now.

My tire sizes are the following

225/45/18 Front
255/45/18 Back

Q1. Does this mean that I have to get staggered rims? The reason why I am asking is because the rims that I want, i cant get staggered.

Q2. Since I dont have brembo breaks, how wide can my rims be? These particular rims are 18x7.5. I hear that in order to clear brembo breaks you need 9.5, what do I need to clear the stock breaks?

I'm a noob. I know. And i have tried searching with no luck. Let me know. Thanks

First it's BRAKES not breaks.

You don't need 9.5 inch wide wheels to clear Brembo's

No you don't want 7.5 , you have a G , not a Civic

At a minimum you should look into stock sizes of 18x8 front and 18x8.5 rear.

Average would be 8.5 front and 9.5 rear , plenty also run 9.5's front and rear. Best would be the 9 to 9.5 fronts and 10 to 10.5 rears.

Offsets you need will start in the mid to lower 20's , not normal and kinda flush fitment. Other fitments , well you can get as crazy as wanted.

Offest is a huge facter, it determines how far the wheels are tucked in the fenders or how far they stick out. Flush or close to flush usually starts in the low +20 range and some people go for the streched tire with the wheel sticking out and the tread under the wheel , that starts in the +10 and lower range.

Brembo fitments , all depends on the wheels/.

with the Brembos you need to worry more about the face of the wheel than the offset.

there will be +30 wheels that wont' fit and there will be +10 wheels that will fit.

just make sure there's room.
