Brake conversion

I want to upgrade my brakes and want to know what everyone's opinion is and what you recommend , Brembo or Stop Tech Calipers and what brake pads and rotors are recommended.

you sure you want to fork out over a grand just to make your brakes look good to you?

i think i'd go with stoptech if that was my priority... same performance, lighter on the wallet when replacing stuff later.

Well I wold only be paying a fraction of the cost for either one because I know someone who knows someone who sells the stuff. I have 19" wheel and it would look awesome, but i think I want to go with a different clutch before i do the brakes, i have a stock clutch in it now. I wan to go to a stage one or something like that though.

why not go with a set of drilled/slotted rotors, g2 caliper paint, and SS lines? It'll save you a bunch of money since a decent bbk is around $4k

if all you want are looks, then the cheapest 4-wheel upgrade is the G37 akebono OEM upgrade, less than $2k for everything I think...larger than the OEM brembo brakes and a little flashier.

Akabono would be great for you , so would the OEM brembo kits. OEM brembo can be had for around $1k used.
