New brakes and New Problems

I just replaced my rotors (oem) and decided on some hawks pads. At first the brakes felt a lot better(after break in), but 5min into 5:00pm traffic they become extremely unreliable and they hardly respond under pressure.

It is creating some dangerous situations. I completely flushed the brakes 2 times and nothing seemed to improved. Also... under very heavy braking (in which i assume the abs turns on) there is a loud electrical pump sound followed by a bubbling sound. I've never heard a ABS module sound that way...

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hmm, did you remember to re-cap the brake fluid reservoir?

Yep, is capped and the fluid does not seem to be leaking.

I've had the same issues with Hapwk HPS pads. I almost rear ended a lady going 70 when she pulled out in front of me, but @ the last second the pads finally warmed up n stopped my car. Switch your pads and reflush your fluid with Dot 4. The pads I am running is Project Mu B force and they are very good, but dusty and noisy is the draw back. I am running ATE Dot 4 racing fluid. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give anything a shot at this point. I'm more concerned with safety and performance than noise and dust.

I can vouch for the Project Mu B-force pads too. Excellent bite when cold or hot, they are just a little squeeky below ~30mph though.
