whats a decent floorjack that will fit under slammed cars?

I will be raising up my car a lot to work on it, etc. I am in the need for a good floorjack that will be small enough to slide under my car. It is pretty slammed, i get about only 3 inch of clearance on my sides, i cannot even fit my oem jack under. So i plan on getting a floorjack to make lifting the car much quicker... I will probably use or build a ramp out of wood to give me extra clearance in order to fit a floorjack.

Is this how you guys raise your car up? I mean those of you who are slammed with body kits that is. Or do you guys use the oem jacks? Please let me know how you guys do this.

I just bought a low profile one from Sears and it works great.

vrod-mike, nice... may i ask how low is your car though. The OP said he is interested in something that will fit easily under extremely lowered cars with body kits... i believe it wont be much of a problem for those cars that are slammed without aftermarket kits. I have a few friends who are slammed all the way on coilovers with just the oem sports sideskirts and have no problems fitting the oem jack.

But as far as those slammed with body kits like me, thats another issue. I know I won't have enough clearance even with a low profile jack.

But shouldn't we get at least a 3ton jack since our cars are about 3200lbs?

Better to drive on top of set 2 x 8 pieces of wood and then using a normal floor jack with a decent throw.

I don't have a kit, so my car isn't as low as some others, but it's pretty low.

I purchased a set of race ramps, the really low ones they sell. I just drive on top of those and then use the jack. Makes life soo much easier and you have just that much more room to work under the car.

omeezy can you post a link to those ramps. I wanna see how the incline is. hopefully not steep, or else my front bumper will touch it before i can actually ride up.
