I recently had one rear caliber seize up on my G, which has 107,000 miles. I found a great deal on the forums for two used calibers for cheap with low miles. I would agree to just buy a new caliber and try looking on the forums like I did.
Guess it started 15 months ago when we changed just the pads
could not get the lower slide pin off, rusted, not right tools, whatever
but we were able to get the pads on, and we did not grease the one slider
we did get off, so now its worse, more rust and worn, so I'm going to replace
the calipers with rebuilt ones for 75$ each, so everything will be brand spanking new, the problem is they were put on dry so from now on
I will service them once a year to make sure everything is working correctly
What kind of grease should I put on the slider pins, is it called caliper grease?
