Quick question. 3-4 weeks after replacing my rear g35 S Techs with z S Techs I started noticing squeaks coming from rear on small bumps, turns, etc (or can be reproduced by pushing down on trunk). I took it back to the shop that installed and they believe the squeaks are coming from coil binding pointing out the top coil and its closeness to the next coil. Has anyone heard of this or have any suggestions for resolving? I like the look and feel but can't take the noise and the shop suggested replacing the Z S Techs with my G S Techs. My coupe is a 07 with sport/performance pkg and OEM 19s for now (set of Volk 20s on order).

Same here...I just installed my S-tech and hear squeaks and noise in the right rear. I was freaked out when I heard that sound...Cuz I DIY the springs..

I have the Z s-techs on my 03 sedan and it squeeks sometimes... Its very minimal tho, and I can live with it

 

Mine squeak as well although I think it was coming from the front. I was starting to believe that my shocks were already going out!

Interesting to see that others have this same issue. I don't know what it could be though.
