I was wondering if anyone has found a way to get to the upper strut of the rear suspension where most coilover dampening adjustment ***** are. I have a coupe with coilovers and I would love it if i could adjust the rear dampening without unbolting the strut. I have tried to search about this but couldn't get an answer. I know there is a thread about this for the newer sedans but not for the coupe. If anyone knows how to do it...let me know

 

i believe you drill a hole

 

what brand of coil overs do you have? Some like BC come with rear adjustment extension cables. The Tokicos even have this available. One idea i saw from a Z member was he drilled the hole in his rear paneling and left a long t-handled allen wrench in there the whole time.

Could always try that? Search my350Z in the DIY section.

 

bc racing coilovers have extenders to help with that

 

I have Megan racing coilovers and they do have the extension cables. I didnt know how to get to it so i just tucked them in there. Does anyone know how to get to that enclosed space? Dont know if i should try from the trunk or the rear seats.

 

any other way besides drilling. I just spent an hour unbolting all the panels on the trunk and wiggling around in the back seat just to get frustrated.
