That's weird.
So, if I understand you correctly, the spring perch does NOT fit on the top in the area where the rubber cone was?
Also, the spring perch doesn't sit totally flat in the cup of the arm either, right?
So how do they expect you to adjust the height? If it was installed that way, you'd have to remove the spring and re-set the perch any time you wanted to make a height adjustment.
Weird. But if they say so, then I guess it's right. Have you tried PM'ng ShanesG? He seems to be on the ball and has done these installs before.
