Time for BBK - need some advice.
It's time for me to get a BBK and wanted some advice from some of you guys who have been through the whole ordeal.
First of all I am keeping my stock 19's on. No reason to upgrade them but I do have 20mm spacers up front and 25mm spacers in the back so...
First question is, will a BBK fit with the OEM 19s with 20mm and 25mm spacers?
Second, I like Brembo. Is the Gran Turismo BBK the way to go? Thinking the 6 piston calipers...by the way, the car will be making its way to the track very soon so keep this in mind.
Third, what else do I need to know before diving into this? Upgraded brake lines or does the GT Brembo kit come with everything.
This is just the start of questions I can think of now simply because I don't know what else to ask since I've never done a BBK before.
Thanks guys.

1. Yes, OEM 19s clear almost every BBK without spacers.
2. Its an awesome kit, but may be overkill depending on what you're doing with your car. The GT kit comes with everything you need (except fluid) including goodridge brake lines.
3. When shopping around, make sure you talk directly to the manufacturers to get a sense for their knowledge of their own product. Do they make it themselves, have they done any proprietary research, what's their warranty like. Everyone is your friend when things are going well, but will they be around if/when you run into trouble.
Stoptech, brembo, willwood, and AP racing are all pretty popular manufacturers on this site.

Yeah, they are pricey, but you can find a deal if you call local shops. No one is buying stuff right now because of the economy and you may find a shop that'll cut you a deal.
If you're trying to stay under 3.5k, hit up the vendors in the marketplace. They'll give you a better deal than most local shops. Also, a lot of people are selling used front & rear BBKs these days for $2,500 or less.

Stoptech is a solid choice - they have done the research on brake bias so you know you won't be degrading stopping distances, and they are a solid company as part of Centric.

What do ya'll know about Alliance? Got a PM from someone suggesting these for that price point. Never heard of them.
Very familiar with Wilwood, StopTech, Project U, GReddy Grex, etc. Just have a preference for Brembo.
StopTech and/or Wilwood are nice options.
