Do I need to cut the rear for the SPC kit?

My rears are currently set up perfectly. If I get the front/rear kit, do I need to drill the holes for the rear? Or can I just swap them in?

What do you mean your rears are set up perfectly? As far as the SPC rear kit goes they bolt right in. I'm assuming you are talking about the camber arms and not camber bolts. The only cutting is for the toe if you are installing the bigger toe bolts. You may need to elongate the holes for the toe bolts.

When you install the rear toe bolts you have to elongate the factory holes, but since the subframe is aluminum it's pretty easy.

If you are "set up perfectly" why are you bothering?

If you buy the spc rear kit, you will never get the correct range for adjustment unless you slot the holes.

anyone have an example of this? I have the kit too, but haven't put it on yet knowing there was something to be done. Did you guys just use a dremel?

Here's a pic of when I did mine. A dremel would take forever. I used a die grinder and a heavy rasp bit and each hole only took a few minutes.

Thanks for the pic, that makes sense, If I do it at home, my only option is a dremel

Not true if you buy the correct bit for a dremel. I used a rasp with alum bit, but is 100% do-able with even a file.

I use a dremel and it takes about a min for each side with a #115 bit!

the rears are set up currently w/o any spc kit to my liking, and am only getting the rears because of the combo kit that is currently on sale. I only need the fronts, but want to get the rears as well in case I choose to change my rear settings. So does this mean that I do NOT need to do any cutting as I only want to basically swap the stock camber arms with the spc camber arms?

Same bit I use. OP make sure you wear proper protection. Safety glasses, gloves, and mouth. Fine pieces of aluminum can get in your eyes easily. Not too difficult with the proper tools.
