2004 G35 Brake Problems - Permanent fix
Hi Folks, I'm tired of fixing the brakes on my 2004 G35. Anybody ever figure out what seems to be causing the excessive wear problem? I've heard it's a design fault somewhere in the hydraulics. I'd like to take care of this problem once and for all. Has anybody out there replaced system components with non OEM (like replacing OEM calipers with Brembo) until the problem went away, and if so, what components did you replace to PERMANENTLY fix the problem? Thanks. Larry
I just posted my experience on another thread:
I changed my brake pads just after I bought my car. The stock brakes made TONS of dust on the front area of car and they squeaked.
I did some research and everyone had an opinion on the best brakes. I bought NAPA's Adaptive One brakes. No dust, no squeaks and they stop great. My old stock pads were not worn in the least, so I didn't experience the problem some had. My rotors were fine as well.
I just hated the squeak and the brake dust was unreal.
