Which Strut Bar?

I've done a lot of research but have come across a lot of conflicting info.
I'm basically looking for your opinions on the best strut bar that matches the following requirements.

1. around $200
2. will clear a 5/16 spacer
3. won't rub the hood liner
4. won't interfere with anything else under the hood
5. actually improves handling/less body roll

Any ideas, thanks guys.

Based on your criteria check out the GTSpec strut bar, I've heard good things about it. I have the NRG strut bar, but after hearing comments from people who've owned both it sounds like the GTSpec is the way to go (sturdier than the NRG bar).

If you are looking to reduce body roll though you may want to look into a set of sway bars versus a FSTB, will cost more than what you've budgeted, but they will have more of an affect in this area over a FSTB.

Thanks Candlestick. Yeah that's definitely on the list.
The trick is figuring out if I still want an aftermarket exhaust and which one won't interfere with which sway bars.
I kinda want the engine bling too.

stay with the GTSpec. It's sturdy, adjustable, and looks great. It will def clear your spacer. Unfortunately mine rubs the liner a bit, however others have said theirs do not.

Okay, GT Spec it is.
Anyone know if the NRG Ritchie Ver2 rubs against the hood liner?

It definatly does. On mine it even bulged the hood despite the fact that I have no spacer or engine cover and had the bar set all the way down in the brackets.

Besides that is it cheap hollow aluminum that you can flex with your bare arms. How the hell is that going to add any rigidity to the front end?

There is a one piece strut bar made by Circuit Sports. I do really like its construction but it looks ugly. I'm thinking of selling my Ritchie to buy that.
