Please help me decide !! H&R springs
Please help me decide !! H&R springs
Im thinking of dropping my 07 sedan on H&R. I already bought the wheels and tires but since we bought the car for my wife im getting cold feet on the drop. I dont want to ruin the ride but i dont want to install the wheels with out the drop. Im looking for experiances and oppionions on the ride after the drop. P.S. anyone running H&R? and if so does it take a front and back camber kit to get back to spec or can i get by on rears only.

If you are going to do the drop, do it right. Besides the H&R sport springs you will need a rear camber kit and possible new rear shocks (depends on mileage). I have H&R's on my sedan now. I also installed the SPC camber kit (front and rear), it’s a must if you don't want to keep buying tires. I also replaced the rear shocks with Tokico HPs. They are pretty cheap. All in all, it will probably be another $800-1000 if you do the work yourself and get it aligned after the springs settle. The springs are progressive so they ride pretty smooth going down the road. My wife only complains about the ride on bumpy surface roads, but no highway bit*hing yet. You will feel more bumps in the road but that is what you give up for the improved handling. Its give and take. If you have an RWD G then you are in luck and you will have lots of strut options fro the front.
