Advice on what break pads and rotors

Just needed some helop with pads and rotors. I did a search but still not what I was looking for. I hear Hawks hps for pads and r1 concepts Premium cross drilled rotors are good. I dont need them cross drilled but I like how it looks. My car is not intended for racing or anything so is hawk hps any good? Plus, I hear that cross drilled and slotted rotors dont really do anything more then a stock one would? So any help would be helpful. Thanks.

After researching I went with the Project MU NS street pads, I am happy with them and brake dust is minimal compared to others. As far as rotors I bought front and rear cross drilled/slotted from www.irotors.com, I dont track my car so I just got them for looks.

VR6 those do look nice not a bad price at all. Do you notice a difference in stopping power or they more for looks. Notice a difference between OEM and not

I have the oem brembos.. I also got the stainless steel lines and I did notice a slight difference when stopping but I really drive like a senior citizen so I mostly bought them for looks.

Hawk HPS don't have good initial (cold) braking bite - you won't be happy with hose in Toronto when the weather turns silghtly cold.

I just put a set of Centric Premium rotors on my Brembo-equipped coupe and am very pleased. You don't need (or want) x-drilled or slotted for the street as it takes away surface area for the pads. On the track, perhaps you need those, but certainly not on the street.

Go with OEM pads and Centric Premium rotors. Rock Auto and Tire Tack carry them.
