I recently bought Z H techs off a guy locally and he gave me the fronts with the springs still on the struts.. Can I install these fully with keeping the Z struts on and using those instead of my G struts?

The rear shocks are a tad shorter..but not rly a noticeable difference. But if the htechs are for a Z then you will have a bigger drop than if the springs were for a G. Look at the sticky in the suspension area.

im on 350z shocks...the springs lower the car not the shocks. they are a tad bit shorter but your going to be lowered anyway.

alright.. So I will be installed Z front and rear struts with Z h techs on my G coupe.. How much of a drop should I expect with those springs and struts should I expect?

Will the rear be even or higher with that set up? Springmount mod recommended?

about .8 front and .7 rear...springmount mod would help make it look evenly droped

Alright awesome, thanks.. So one last thing.. Even though the struts off the Z are shorter by an inch it won't give me a drop that extra 1 inch drop?

nope...the "rod" is shorter not the shock body.thats why their called lowering springs theyre the ones that lower the car. there is no such thing as lowering shock/struts.

you can search for pics and see how much of a drop it gives. there are plenty of people on here with that set up.

Yeah but if the body or the rod or whole strut is shorter then how would it not lower the car more? Just like the s30 chassis guy when they section there strut and springs in order to achieve a lower drop.

When I compared my g struts vs my buddie z struts there wad an 1 1/2 difference.

350z shocks drop a G coupe .5" and a sedan about 1"..... The shocks do drop the G so dont listen to someone who is telling you otherwise. I have 350z shocks on my car right now. Just trying to help

Ok, so I have the 350z TEIN H TECHS and 350z front and rear struts.. Should I do the rear springmount mod or not? If yes, by how much? 0.5 inch?

Put the springs and struts on your car and see how the rear looks, if you dont like it just cut the springmount half an inch.
