Undecided Shock ASAP!?
Ok to make this story short, I have the Tein Flex Coiover system installed on my G35 2dr.
Now the problem is the back shock's one's messes up, and Tein is charging 700+ to fix them and 1000+ to replace them. Now the thing is which shock's can I buy instead to replace the pricey Flex shock's.
Remember the flex shock's are ride adjustable, I been told to buy the Koni sport but the problem their not height adjustable but are rebound adjustable.
So does anyone know if the Koni Sport will handle a 1.5-2.5 drop? and does it matter if their not height adjustable?

What exactly is wrong with the rear dampers?
Here's Tein's service price list.

Max drop you should run Koni's with on a coupe would be about 1.5". More importantly you can't run them without a revalve with Tein flex springs anyhow.

OH FLX for SA Type= $200 (100 for each)
Piston Rods Rear= $100.00 (50 for each)
Internal Parts= $115.20
Rear Uppermount Base= $136 (68 for each)
Bump Rubber= $24 (12 for each)
Dust Boot= $20 (10 for each)
Air freight from Japan to US= $100
It come's put to be $695.20 and that just an estimate they said once they take it apart more work might need to be done to it. So they said it might come out to be $1000. For that price I might as well buy new one's.
I just think it's total BS how much they are charging me, I sure it's a rip off especially with them charging me $100 for shipping stuff. And on top of that they gave me a minimum of 3 months for the shock's to be repair. up to 6 months.
Really need to find another pair of shock's that I can use, I don't mind paying but I think it's a total rip off for what they are charging for. Some of those parts weren't even wore out when I send them in, they just want more money.
Really need some advice on what other brand I can use, any?
Hate Tein for not honoring their warranty this kit has only being in the car for no more than 1.5 months, and it's awful.
