Sway bars bushing brackets greasing fittings
Have anyone try to modify the brackets of the sway bar bushings to adapt greasing fittings? There have to be an easy way to grease these bushings... my sways are squeaking every two or three months!

...even with a fitting it's tough to get the grease to the entire bushing surface.
what kind of grease are you using?
I lube each spring & have zero problems the rest of the year.
I use Amsoil synth grease

Well, the grease I used is supposed to be synthetic, I got it from a local auto parts store. It was the best I could find on Pepboys. I do not remember the brand but it was a white cartridge with green lettering. I can not be certain on this because I have it stored at my mechanic shop. I'm going to have to try Amosoil.
Are you using stock bushings or aftermarket?
The fitting on the bracket can not be that hard, I've seen it in other cars. You can even purchase the fittings on line.

I'me on OE bush at the moment but have had neo bush on another car with similar results.
I agree, the fittings are definitely doable.
You have to drill & tap the retainer collar.
AND drill a channel in the bush to get grease to the sway.

Well I picked up some Permatex synth, dropped my F&R sways, greased the bars, the bushings inside and out, the D-brackets, put it all back together, being sure to torque the brackets to TAF-spec and Voila!! My car's suspension no longer sounds like Paris Hilton's bedsprings!!
I'll post again in a few months (or sooner) and let you know how long it lasted.
EDIT: oops, not so fast, I still got creaks in the rear suspension. Time to look at the springmounts.
