Rotora BBK......HELP!!!!

I purchased a brand new Rotora BBK (14" Front and Rear) for my G35 Sedan a year and a half ago and installed them last summer (2008). I put about 4000 miles on the kit since I have had them. By the end of this summer I was getting the worst vibration known to man when I was braking. I took my car to Vinney Ten Racing and he determined that the rotors were warped. After making some phone calls and talking to a few people I found out that there was a special break in process I was suppose to perform on the rotors when I initially installed them. Not doing that has allowed brake pad deposits to build up in the rotor. I wanted to know if anyone can advise me on the following:

1. Has anyone else had this problem?
2. Can these rotors be resurfaced?
3. Stoptech makes the same exact size rotor. Is there any chance that the Stoptech rotors will fit on the Rotora hats? I see they both have a 10 bolt pattern but not sure if they line up. The stoptech rotors are cheaper in price and I thought that may be better quality to go with this time around.
4. Whether I replace the rotors or get them resurfaced....should I still replace the pads regardless or only if I replace the rotors?

Any information anyone has on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

Important to use Brakealign shims to bring edge surface of rotor to perfection 0.00001" or better. Warped hubs and bearings will transfer the warp to rotors and magnify it by ratios of diameters differences.

1. I have AP Racing 6/4 setup, and never had that issue -- but I was warned by the sales tech that I needed to brake in the rotors or else I possibly could warp the rotor. Did you torque the lug nuts to spec? That was another warning -- If you over torque one of the lug nuts, you can warp the rotor.

2. Typically it doesn't make sense to turn rotors, because the cost of labor to remove, turn, then re-install rotors vs replacing new rotors isn't a whole lot.

If you are looking for a quick fix and can take your rotors off and leave your car on jacks, and just bring the rotors in to a mechanic/pep boys, etc... it's cheap. Maybe $25 per rotor to turn?

If you have drilled/slotted rotors, which I assume -- when you turn/re-surface the rotors, you potentially "sharpen" the slots and holes which will just eat up at your pads.

I personally never turn the rotors, I get two years out of my two piece rotor and just replace. I have two piece, so I can save the hat and replace the rotors (just be sure to torque each nut or else you'll warp the rotor!!!)

3. I would call StopTech and just ask them, they know their stuff and they would probably appreciate you buying their rotors even though you have Rotora calipers. I've had great experience with StopTech.

4. Depends how much pad life you have. During the brake in procedure of the new rotors (if you get them), they will burn off any glaze on the pads and you should be fine. If you just turn, you can do 10 repeated stops from 65 mph to 10 mph and then drive for 5 miles without using the brakes to cool them down. Never lock up the brakes or come to a complete stock because that will create a hot spot on the rotor. Obviously for safety reasons, if you have to stop, you have to stop.
